Come on now. Don't you have a water tower still?

Their water tower is a still? Heck, I'm in.....love me some shine.

That Troy Trojan water tower is a lot nicer than the one that CajunFanatico posted of Ruston's water tower. Wouldn't mind having one like Troy's, especially if it did hold shine.

Ruston's has prestige. You should learn to tell the difference.

How do they hold all that prestige in that little water tower?

They can't. As I've mentioned before, they're literally dripping with prestige.

Must create some big drips. Looks like they would plug their water tower.

The only way to attain that much prestige would be to put in the water supply. I think CF is on to something here:)

Even Lolly Polly's interstate highways are more prestigious than yours. Their water tower is on I-20. Your water tank is on lowly I-10.

The Day Tripper (a regional PBS show where a dude travels to a city and spends a day there doing stuff) filmed in San Marcos earlier this year.
http://thedaytripper.com/daytrip/san-marcos/
The clip is about 30 minutes.

As most of you know, San Marcos is 30 minutes from Austin, 45 from San Antonio. Coming in you can hit both of those cities if you want.

However, you can find plenty to do between the cities that will give you a real feel of the Texas Hill Country.

San Marcos River-
Some of the state's best freshwater swimming holes (Guadalupe, San Marcos, Blanco Rivers are close by)

Texas BBQ Trail
BBQ is religion to us, but if you want to experience some of the best Texas BBQ, you can find a plethora of places within 30 miles of San Marcos
[Image: food_set-11950.jpeg]

Texas Craft Beer and Wine Scene-
New breweries and brewpubs are popping up all around the area. San Marcos along with neighboring towns New Braunfels, Canyon Lake, Wimberley, and Seguin are all producing beers and wines.

There are a lot of Mobile, but here are some high lights.

Mobile from the bay.

Areal of campus. It's a couple years old, I don't see the football facilities or the new intermural fields.

GM&O Railroad Terminal

We are the rainiest city in America. This is what happens when we get to much rain, those are parking meters you see sticking up.

Best part is, that street is named, wait for it, "Water Street" no lie.

And of course, the USS Alabama.

Because the drinking age was still 19, every student at Washington State would journey six miles across the border to party. Wazzu are Idaho are still on the list of top party schools, but it's a lot more laid back here. We still have a reputation for being nasty and inebriated, and still have a better bar scene than Pullman (in my expert opinion).
