Dude I don't care about your money. You're not doing anything with it. You're not winning championships in any major sport. You barely have higher TV ratings than the other conferences (outside of the SEC). The B1G was supposed to compete with the SEC but you're getting killed and you know it and Delany knows it.

You do realize that college athletic conferences are not professional minor leagues? They serve a different purpose than professional sport leagues.

Just go back to worshipping Cro-Magnon men that are getting handouts in order to entertain the masses and to help raise money for the Universities that offer them scholarships.

You don't understand the bigger picture. 07-coffee3

Whatever..If you don't think the professional leagues are using college as a cheap minor league system, then I have nothing left to say.

That is not what I said. Stop creating straw men just because the main point is getting away from you.

Go scour twitter. It is the only place where media folks can drop hints. If you havn't seen them, I really don't feel much desire to help you Steve. Pretty obvious you are trying to catch me in something. It should be pretty obvious that I don't care.

You need to remember that the student part of student-athlete is optional at UNC.

ALL negotiations that have taken place in the last 4-5 years have been leaked. I googled Big Ten renegotiation ESPN and got NOTHING. If there was anything, it would be out there more than just on twitter.

And think about it- why would the Big Ten want to renegotiate now before they go out on the open market? It'd be stupid as heck for the Big Ten to do it. Obviously ESPN would want to, but I don't see Delaney really wanting to do so- not when going out on the open market creates a bidding war that only helps the Big Ten more and more. It'd be bad business to just negotiate with ESPN unless ESPN comes out with something bizarre almost quite frankly.

That % is so small it doesn't even move the needle. It's just bad publicity.

Clemson admissions denied WR Dwight Jones in 2008. Remind me where he played in college.

And every statistic?

Ok, then don't believe it. That is fine. I have actually done some asking around. I believe what I was told but I also know that negotiations don't mean something will actually happen so I am not going to sit here and make any statements to that degree.

Negotiations ARE happening and the Timing matters more than anything else. Take that as you will or ignore as you wish. It doesn't matter to me either way and I don't see the benefit of debating it further.

Edit: I will say this. You are dead on in regards to ESPN wanting it and the Big Ten being the ones stalling the discussion. That is why I say the Timing matters ok? I don't blame you for questioning my statement. I don't have anything more to offer you ok?

APR is garbage. Why you ask? Kentucky's is higher and I don't see how that's possible with all of the 1 and dones.

I'd think if negotiations are going on, they'd be pretty much ESPN sided. Obviously they don't want it to go out on the open market and leave the chance of FS1 getting anything. I'd be shocked unless ESPN gave them the Holy Grail that they would take it. Makes no sense at all on the Big Ten side. They hold pretty much all the cards in my opinion. Not sure why they would sell short when they could get what they are wanting and maybe even more.

Just like the academic "standards" for athletes in Chapel Hill.

And just go ahead and skip over the fact that Jones was denied admission at Clemson and got in UNC no problem. If you ignore it perhaps it will go away.

January could end up being a dud or it could end up blowing the doors right off the building. Remember....timing. If ESPN is pushing a deal, they believe Something big could possibly happen.
