Usually I eat at the Arcade, but looking to try something different. ANy ideas?

Brunch at the Downtown Monkey on weekends.

Breakfast any time at the Blue Plate on Court Square.

Not downtown but cafe eclectic has the best breakfast in town. And, yes, I know there is a location downtown on mud island but it's nothing like the main location.

I'm pretty far east so don't go downtown very often, save for tiger games

But if the last three times I've eaten at the Arcade are any indication, you would obviously do well to eat elsewhere.
Name recognition has to be the ONLY reason they're still open

I second Cafe Eclectic! Next to Brother Juniper's, they are the best breakfast in Memphis. Trolley Stop is good, too.

And I have never had a good breakfast at the Arcade.

Bon Ton is pretty good food but the service is sketchy. I've been there for brunchish time so I don't know what time they open. Neat diner vibe.

King's Palace on Beale now has breakfast. Great Bloody Mary's too. Opens at 9 AM.

Miss Polly's on Beale has waffles and wings. I love that place!

I'd think anything would be a step up from The Arcade. Can't see myself ever returning. Blue Plate is low risk.
