Who's getting drafted?
Who do you think will be drafted from your team and what round?

Derrell Johnson - high 5th- mid 6th ...if he posts crazy numbers at Pro-Day (or the combine if he gets an invite) I think he could go as high as mid 4th.

Damon Magazu - someone takes a flyer on him in the 7th. Worst case he is signed as an UDFA.

I think Lee Pegues and Chip Thompson get signed as UDFAs. If Tignor wants to continue playing, he may get signed as well, but probably doesn't make it out of camp.

While he didn't play this year, I think Justin Jones gets an invite to a camp based on his 6'8, 277lb size as a possible red-zone target.

Gotta think Gator Hoskins gets a serious look. Other than that I don't know. A lot of our skilled positions return next year.

RE: Who's getting drafted?
Best Pro Prospects for WKU are
ILB Andrew Jackson: Projected 5-6 (I think he will do better).

Xavius Boyd: 7th round

Jonathan Dowling: Pulled out as a Jr. Projected 7th rd, but I thinkk he will move up rapidly at the combine.

Antonio Andrews is currently in the 5th round, but after his All Star game and the combine look for him to find his way up higher to a team needing a down and distance back, with HR potential. Tennessee I'm looking right at you.

Xavius's brother Bar'ee, a couple of offensive linemen, and some defensive players are also entered in the draft. All 32 teams are signed up for pro-day, so I take that as a VERY good sign of things to come.

Dont think any of the Owls will get drafted this year. Keith Reaser had the best shot but his injury probably blew that away. Our blogger things 3 will get UDFA deals and make camps.

RE: Who's getting drafted?
I'd bet K Chris Boswell gets drafted, but he's a kicker so maybe 7th round. Our other candidates are probably CB Phillip Gaines and RB Charles Ross. Ross is probably the longer shot since he might not have NFL speed, but he's been so effective as a college running back, I wouldn't be surprised to see him get taken. Also, our long snapper Trevor Gillette has been rated as the best long snapper in college football, so I think he goes to the NFL, but they don't usually get drafted.

I think some of the Rice Owls will get drafted but I'm not entirely sure about the rounds. Phillip Gaines should be 3rd-4th round as a DB? He'll probably be the highest selection. Most of the other guys are late picks (Charles Ross at RB, Chris Boswell at PK, Nate Richards at C) or will be free agents.

RE: Who's getting drafted?
Our best bet of getting drafted is MLB Zach Orr. He's a little undersized, but his performance speaks for itself. If he doesn't get drafted, I would absolutely expect to see him and Brelan Chancellor on NFL rosters in the fall via free agency.

DT Richard Abbe and DE Aaron Bellazin also have a shot to make a camp.

RE: Who's getting drafted?
Zach Orr will get drafted 4th-5th. I think Chancellor, Byrd, Abbe and Trice all have a shot to make a team undrafted. Especially Chancellor. Return specialists are all the rage.

Due to the fact that NT players recently have had success in the NFL, I think they'll all make a team. Robertson starts for the Browns and is a great LB, Dunbar had his breakout then got hurt...Jamize Olawale is a great 3rd down back/FB.

LOL settle down that wasnt an insult. Where do you think he would fit? Is he actually 6'2"? At that height I don't know if he would be able to stay a TE in the NFL. Maybe a move to FB? How is his blocking?

If Hoskins can run a sub 4.5 he'll get drafted. I think he can do that.

I always thought Will Simmons was the best senior pro prospect on the Pirates this year. I don't see Pegues or Thompson getting a look...I'd rank them this way...

Simmons-drafted
Johnson-drafted
Jones-free agent
Magazu-free agent

I see Gator almost like Wes Welker. He's just a mismatch for most defenders a possession type receiver when it's on the line. So yes I agree he would be a good fit for the Patriots.

The only Tech player that might get drafted in my opinion is our DE IK Enemkpali. Most likely we won't have any selected but maybe a few undrafted signings.

FAU CB Keith Reaser has a good shot at being drafted. He suffered a knee injury halfway through this year, but he was a pretty good prospect before that and he was just invited to the NFL combine today. He recently signed up to be represented by Drew Rosenhaus and he's a cousin of the late Sean Taylor. I wouldn't be surprised if he went in the 5th or 6th round.

DE Corey Henry and Martin Wright also have a shot of at least getting signed as a UDFA.

My sleeper pick is Dobson. By the end of the season he looked like a different player.
