This is one of the most injured Bearcat teams I can remember, and I am not sure how much this three-week break will help.

I agree. I picked us, but secretly, I am dreading a flop due to injuries. UNC has been really good on offense the last half of the year. Other than UL, this will be the only better than average team we have faced.

If we do flop, I think it will be on offense, not defense. The majority of injuries are on that side.

With the exception of the cornerbacks( what the hell happened with Trenier Orr?) the defensive side of the ball is coming into the game relatively healthy.
If the interior of what's left of the OL and Kay's ankle holds up, I think we have a pretty good chance. Just keep your fingers crossed that no one else goes down during the game.

We need this game in a huge way for our recruiting class. I don't know why, exactly, but this season certainly hasn't boosted our class and if we do flop in this game, I can't see the class getting much better. Put a beat-down on UNC and maybe the class gets that late surge.

UNC has a kid from West Virginia named Ryan Switzer. He's a true freshman and he was the best, single prospect that the state has put out in several years. He's really come on for the Tarheels at the end of the season... He makes me, as a Bearcat fan, extremely nervous.

I'm not going to make a prediction, in part because I still do not like our coaching staff. I am going to hope for the best while expecting something less.

I predict a three-four beer buzz before kickoff. Beyond that, I can't say I have a lot of confidence in the outcome of this one.

God it hurts to see Tre Boston's name in all of these previews. That still hurts.

Catholics being Catholics. So many GCL kids got away...Muldoon, Rush, Davis...man our defense would've been crazy if we'd have kept some of them home.
