I think these clowns need a good thumping. They are a disgrace.

Oh, and the rather well off middle school boys that insist on wearing the baggy Nike shorts, even in winter, ONLY certain brand or types of t-shirts and "kicks" and think they're old enough and cool enough to call each other those names, drop "Biitch" or Fag or some other dumb*** phrase every third word. Not really sure what they are going for, perhaps wiggerdome, but it sure is annoying as crap, especially in a public place with others around.

Wanna ring everyone of their scrawny necks.

Whole lotta anger in this thread...

I've never heard anyone else use the word jackleg before (aside from where I first heard it). One of my favorites 04-cheers.

And I agree. Don't forget the obligatory Browning or DU sticker.

Wut?...Jackleg is very commonly thrown around here in SENC to describe anyone in business that does a schitty job...especially trades. Im close to the SC border...maybe that is why.

Hmm. Maybe I'm just in the wrong crowd. I've lived in a couple of places and don't typically hear it, oh well. It was actually my mom who introduced the word into my vocabulary. 03-lmfao

To me a jackleg is someone trying to do a skilled craftsman job without the proper training. As K said, they do a shitttty job.

Pretty much. My dad used it quite often to describe a "shade tree mechanic".

Lighten up man. Not every damn thread is necessitates a contrary response. Sometimes it is just for fun.

Hey, even at the young age of 26, it sucks to see kids step on your grass.

The people my age would probably remember this: Napoleon Dynamite. I love this movie but the Vote for Pedro t-shirt wearers were horrible.

It was also more quoted than any episode of The Chappelle Show.

In elm/mid school I despised any shirt that advertised for a non-existent business. "Johnson's automotive, if it ain't broke, we'll fix it until it is." or "Brown's cured pork, prices so good, you'll squeal."

03-banghead

Instead of spending $10 at Target for those shirts, why not go down to the local seafood restaurant or auto-shop and buy one of their shirts?

Not sure if it's a subculture, but for me it's the people driving the expensive sedan (especially BMW's) that pull into the lane that's ending so they can get in front of you and force you to brake and let them in again (if you're not alert enough). The same people tailgate you while coming out of tollbooth areas even though you're accelerating at a reasonable rate. They're also throwing cigarettes out the window. Basically, people who apparently think only of themselves.

Good God that's a great one. I saw this all weekend.

Can I just add in the word tourists in place of people?

The people who use the shoulder of the road to get ahead in traffic jams annoy the piss out of me as well. Luckily I don't do a lot of interstate driving..

I'm SO glad I don't have to drive on major highways to get to work right now (after about 15 years of it). Just so many a-holes out there.
