My most were Boston, Worcestor, and Providence, and my least were Pittsburgh, Jackson, and New Orleans.

Jackson MS, Chatanooga TN, and Columbus GA.

Everywhere around the state I live in.

All sensible, but at some point, w/ a dialect spread out this far, it's not really meaningful to say I have any specific one.

Where near Rockford did you go to school?

New York City, Washington, DC and Baltimore. YIKES. 3 places that I loathe and in which I have never lived.

Most similar: Shreveport, LA; Baton Rouge, LA; Jackson, MS-- I grew up in a small town in MS, bout 2 hours north of NOLA off of I-55.

Least similar: Buffalo, NY; Worcester, MA; Providence, RI.

I got Salt Lake City, Stockton, and Spokane. Not even remotely close to either my own history or my family's history. But it was a fun quiz.

Cincinnati, Louisville and Lexington. Calling them gym shoes apparently is a very Cincinnati thing to do.
