The ACC is very good in baseball we just can never get the big win in the CWS. Would be a great product on the ACCN

With FSU, Clemson and Miami on the uptick with Virginia Tech and Louisville for Football...to go with ACC Men's and Women Basketball, Baseball and even LaCrosse plenty of quality programming if it gets off the ground.

I'm not the biggest baseball fan in the world, but the move to the ACC will be a tremendous bump up for the program. Lot of great programs in the conference and the move has already created a ton of buzz among the Louisville baseball community. It will be interesting to see how the Cards handle the transition.

As a side note, it looks like most of the teams in the ACC use grass outfields. For the teams that have artificial turf, is it only used in the outfield with baselines, batter's bow, and pitcher's mounds all using dirt? The reason I ask is because Jim Patterson (UofL) uses FieldTurf for everything except the pitcher's mound (i.e the mound is dirt but the baselines and batter's box are turf).

VT put in an all turf field recently.

We look forward to looking like world beaters in the regular season, storming into the Top 10 ... then quickly losing the first round of a hosted regional to exit the tournament.
