Hey Savadrool. Here's how it's done.....a 50 yarder to win the New Orleans Bowl.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cG6DP57hdII

BTW, did you know that the field goal to win the game by Hunter Stover against you guys was his first? Not bad. Nailed it in front of 54,000+ and a national TV audience. Too bad you guys don't have kickers of equal caliber.

Well JD Tulane seems to thinks it mattered, but by his on words Savadrool believed every time they got to the forty it was an automatic three points and thus did not matter.

Well X, it is... when you kick in front of 5K fans. No so when you kick in front of 55K.

Tool-lame sphincters have a tendency to pucker when the decibel level gets above 60.

RE: Where's Savacool?
Let's be clear TooLame will attempt to build it's bowl resume in the non conference games with a 1AA school, and as weak as they can get in the FBS. I suspect they want some USM right now. They will be lucky to win three in the AAC and that means they need to win at least 3 of the four non conference games. Now if they play nine conference games you may as well close the doors. TooLame fans barely come for winning, they will talk about coming when losing.

Enjoy your long stay in the Belch as a lowly Tier 2 academic university. Stop trying to intimidate the media to call you other than your true name USL sorry ULL as a regional community college directional school with little market area, lowly annual athletic budget and minor endowment.Yours truly, Savacool. Have a good day!

And yet, with all those "shortcomings" that you listed, still did not assist your team with the most important aspect of the contest...victory.

His father died mid season and he has been off a bit since.

So I watched the replay of the game today. One of the things they were showing was Santos kicking sixty plus yard field goals pre game, and as he turned I saw a face that looked something like this 03-cloud9.

I'm pretty sure he misses his dad, and it sucks to not have him at your ONLY bowl appearance ever, but honestly he did not look too broken up before the game. Maybe he had gotten over it like about twenty thousand people a day in the USA do, and just missed it. You blame a death, announcers blame a holder for what looked like a fine hold .

Me I blame the pressure of playing in front of more than a handful of fans at the Mercedes Super Dome. He also missed a a couple of very makable at USTA that could have made a difference in the Lamer overall record. Well 50 & 54 are some pretty big attempts.

We are pretty happy, good football, promising winning basketball while the Lamers are officially looking forward to baseball after the horrible start for y'all in basketball.

Still you are in the C USA and there are a lot of bad basketball programs there right now. Unlike football the C USA as currently put together will probably only have one team moving into the NCAA, and I doubt it will be the Green Ripple.

Tulane leaves CUSA which is now the Sunbelt 2 for the AAC in the Spring. The AAC thas some great basketball programs such as Cincinnati,Memphis, U Conn etc. Tulane have a new President and AD coming in next year and our current idiot men's basketball coach Conroy will be fired.

Whatever. You definitely suck right now, and next year not only will your basketball still suck and be overwhelmed your football team will also. But it is so nice to dream about the possible instead of the probable.
