Didn’t Buffalo almost make it to the MAC title game? To think that I’ve suggested adding it to the American….

That bad team seemed to have a noticeable edge: past bowl experience. SDSU has been to 4 straight bowls, while this UB roster had no players left from our last bowl season. As a few writers mentioned, UB looked overwhelmed while SDSU looked comfortable.

If being shocked by a top 6 FCS early, only to catch fire and go on a run makes you bad, then Oregon St and Kansas St must be too.

I had no problem with Buffalo losing. However, it's the way that it lost and the conditions the game was played in that makes a blowout inexcusable; especially when playing a mediocre at best MWC school.

I didn't watch a lot of UCF this year but what I saw I enjoyed. They only out-classed their opponent four times this year but they went 7-1 in games determined by a TD or less. In the crunch they consistently found a way to win except at South Carolina where they gave up a 10-0 halftime lead to lose.

UCF’s inconsistency makes the game against Baylor interesting. I think UCF has the ability to be physical with Baylor and slow down its offense. However, I question UCF’s ability to score enough points to beat Baylor. UCF will have to replicate what OSU did on defense against Baylor in order to have a chance at winning this game.
