RE: LSU game thread
This UNC team is looking like the NIT team we played a few years ago. Which isn't good.

RE: LSU game thread
I feel like LSU was more ready to play us than we were to play them...if that makes sense.

9-2, #1 rebounding team in the nation, a great game against NM (that they only won on desperation shots) and a win against UNC...LSU wasn't overlooking us. In fact, they were keyed up to play us. Our guys have to get used to that.

Agreed. Perhaps having a nice run of cupcakes didn't do us any favors.

They still were battling down low, but the shots just wouldn't go in. I think the possession where we lost it was when we got it down to 10, had 4 close shots or tip ins, and none of them went in. That was where I was 99% sure we were going to lose. LSU also shot really well all game. Hard to compete against that.

Not good to lose by 23, though. Very disappointing day.

Agree with Atalla. We needed this one, but I think we can still get an at large. It's time for a hell of a win streak, no bad losses, and preparation for the cusa tourney.

They did play hard, but they looked like a Mike Davis inspired team, playing in a panic because the other team came out hot. They needed to settle down.

Last team to hit 10 threes and lose to us was Tulane late last year.
It is actually a common occurrence.

LSU was the first team this year to score more than 8 threes

Shouldve kept Foz taking jumpers and Let Rideau jack some 3s when we got to within 10.

He was. He stopped hitting them after five though.
5-5 to start the game. 1-6 to finish the game.

RE: LSU game thread
Rucker 4, Rob and Chad with 3 turnovers

Tho, Rob was called for a TO under the basket. May have been double dribble.
