CSN Holiday WAN Party -- Team Fortress 2 (Free, PC, Steam)
So ... looks like the best option is Team Fortress 2. This game is free to play, plays on PC (Windows, Mac, and Linux) and is available at http://www.steampowered.com (create an account for free).

I imagine afternoon hours will be most popular ....

I'm flexible, but among that list I'd prefer Sunday, 12/29, say 3:00-5:00 PM ET.
