I got a first hand look at Da'Ron in track when I was an assistant track coach for Lane Tech. No one in the city could beat him at 110 hurdles and we had studs. I know he placed his senior year at State. I forgot where he placed but I was there. He was a monster.

I was pleasantly surprised to see him come to NIU, I'm a big fan.

I expect Akeem to be day to day once Spring practice starts.

Now if Da'Ron will just not have any of the dropsies...

Sounds like speed will not be an issue on offense next year. Let's hope one of the QBs can truly be the next guy!
