Nah. We just need to make free throws. We would be undefeated right now if we shot just a little bit better.

Very true, but with PJ, they are final four good. Not sure they can score consistently from the outside without him.

You need to quit allowing thugs on campus.

Almost every campus has thugs. Some are just smarter than others. All of the warning signs were there for PJ and he chose to ignore them.

They've beaten Michigan St, Louisville, and Kentucky. I think that pretty much means they can beat anybody.

NO - Roy knew about this crap and so did Bubba. I have relatives that have to go to school with these people and live Chapel Hill and I don't like it. Inviting Durham's thugs into Chapel Hill is not what needs to be happening. I also don't like people in the academy laughing or sneering at UNC since one of my degrees is from Carolina. It's time to straighten up even if it means losing a few games.

PJ is from Greensboro.
So what do you propose? The vast majority of college basketball players at higher institutions have a less than stellar background. Even Duke has had their fair share of thugs.

Yeah no thugs in Raleigh. And PJ is far from a thug!

You don't even want to go down this road - are you even a UNC graduate? If you were, instead of just being a UNC sports fan, you would acknowledge there are huge problems to be dealt with in Chapel Hill. And when you are caught in Durham driving around with a bunch of weed, toss out a gun, in a rental car that is going back and forth between Atlanta and the Tidewater, something is rotten and you know it. Jeeze, you just had a pothead player caught in Roy's rental house.
It needs to end, for the good of the University, the State of NC, and the League.

Where PJ is from is immaterial, the problem is rooted in Durham and you know it, but there is no need to discuss in detail. Roy should have tossed him when got caught with the weed, in rental car, in a drug dealing area of Durham, next to the tossed gun. Is Roy going to move him into his rental house and charge him minimal rent? Is that what's next. The programs need to be tightened up before folks get hurt.

UNC can certainly beat anyone. The question would be consistency. I don't see UNC having enough of that to win 6 in a row at the end, but I don't think anyone will want to be paired up with the Tar Heels come March.

Well they made an example out of PJ so hopefully this will send a message.
As for the Will Graves thing....I assume he wanted to get his life back together and convinced Roy that's what he was doing. I don't fault Roy for giving the guy a chance.

The problems in UNC are no different than at that fine institute in Raleigh and they all know it. The great school in Durham is not immune. Just saying don't point only to Chapel Hill.

I wouldn't necessarily call him a thug. Did he take improper benefits i.e.- rental cars ? yes he did. He did get caught for speeding and he did smoke marijuana. If they imprisoned everybody who did that half the country would be in jail. Perhaps, it is best for him to start some place new where he can get away from his old "friends". Hopefully, he learns from this and changes his lifestyle before it is too late.
