This will fast tracked to the Supreme Court...Kennedy will be the swing vote and his track record on GLBT issues is pretty clear.

Interesting...

No it isn't.

This will have zero impact on most of the rest of the country.

Not true...it will be appealed...and work it's way to the Supreme Court...should they rule it unconstitutional it would strike down all state bans on gay marriage.

See Lawrence v Texas and sodomy laws.

You can guess as to high up the appeals ladder it goes but as of today this ruling means nothing anybody outside of Utah. If it falls short of the SCOTUS then it still will have next to zero impact on anybody outside the circuit.

If you don't have a clue what you are talking about then don't speak.

See, shut up.

I've been following these cases since Lawrence v Texas in 03...through Windsor v United States this year...you can pretend all you like this looks like a case that will work it's way up the federal ladder.

Gay marriage = no husband, no wife, and no traditional way to have kids. Without a natural way to perpetuate the weak among us should have faded away. But it takes a court ruling by ONE PERSON to upset what nature decided was the best was for life to continue in it's strongest form.

Libs, you have nothing to be proud of.

Because they like to upset things. Men are supposed to look like men, and women are supposed to look like women. Once bitten by the gay, far too often women look like men and men look like women. For some gay men, having a sex change operation actually means turning them into men.

Yeah, Equality is always a bad thing.

I bet you wish you could still own a Negro, and women couldn't vote.

Maybe because I am GAY, and would like to have equality in my life time so I can marry my partner?

Yeah, that would be it for me.

Yeah, that would be it for me.

Would you settle for having everything but having it called something other than marriage? I think most of the country could live with that.

Nature says we shouldn't make it to middle age and many sicknesses should kill us...

Equalty also means Tiger Woods should be able to play on the LPGA tour.

Just wait, I've been saying for a few years that the next cry by homosexuals will be having a child by any means necessary, they will demand it is a "right".

Odd. Where's this "fundamental right" to marry in the Constitution? I don't recall that one. 03-yawn

The so-called fundamental right to marry is the right to marry exacted in any form by the government of the United States. If this right is provided to a portion of the population - as it has been - then it is thus a Constitutionally protected right for all citizens of these great states through the 14th Amendment, popularly known as the "Equal Protection" amendment.
