RE: Utah gay marriage ban struck down
Here is where the left misses the boat and ends up hurting their cause even more.

When gay marriage is forced upon the public - a public where 67 percent of the population is opposed, it actually creates resentment and anger towards the gay community as a whole.

This is no triumph. This does not force tolerance. It only makes that acceptance even more difficult to obtain.

We have become a country where the courts rule. That will have to be corrected.

Odd. Where's this "fundamental right" to marry in the Constitution? I don't recall that one. 03-yawn

SCOTUS deemed marriage a fundamental civil right in Loving v. Virginia...

Morally, I'm totally against gay marriage. But the person who wants fairness for all in me says that we should allow it. At the end of the day, does my salvation depend on keeping it illegal?

Not agreeing and disagreeing with you, but when haven't the courts ruled?

Yeah, Equality is always a bad thing.

I bet you wish you could still own a Negro, and women couldn't vote.

Equalty also means Tiger Woods should be able to play on the LPGA tour.

One thing about Tiger... he ain't gay

And if I recall, Obama was originally against same sex marriages before he "evolved."

03-lmfao the constitutionality of the amendment was challenged...the court has ALWAYS decided what is/is not constitutional.

You just don't like his decision...but it's legally valid.

No it isn't.

This will have zero impact on most of the rest of the country.

Actually, this may have a bigger impact than you think. First, its another precedent. And two, its UTAH. If the start of marriage equality doesn't do more than raise a few eyebrows, then it will be a signal that to the other states judiciaries, especially in conservative states, that its time to just end discrimination against Gay couples.

Question.... My Boss for the last time went to a lesbian wedding tonight. One of the ladies getting married actually became a woman roughly 20 years ago. The other lady has always been a lady. Was it really a lesbian wedding? Also, why become a woman to be with a woman?

Actually the vast majority were started by Ever Respect, who trolls the internet for slanted stories cherrypicked to try and demean LGBT persons.

I rarely start a thread in here.

Yes, it was a lesbian wedding. Both partners hold themselves out to be female. You should always address a person with their chosen gender.

Its just common decency.
