Congratulations to Zac Kerin and Bernard Reedy, chosen for the East-West Shrine Game. It's scheduled for January 18th.

RE: Rockets in postseason All-Star games
I hope David Fluellen is well enough to be in one of these postseason games. He's on the watch list for the Senior Bowl, as of December 20th.

Here's a link (if it works) to the MAC players currently on that list. Apparently they announce new selections for the game every Monday.

RE: Rockets in postseason All-Star games
Haven't seen any mention of Rockets besides Reedy and Kerin being named to any of the All-Star games, though I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Fluellen.

The rosters are out for the East-West Shrine game and interestingly, Kerin is on the East squad and Reedy is on the West squad. At least I think it's interesting. Obviously geography doesn't mean anything, so maybe it's a competitive balance thing.

Good news (I think, as I can't find any news stories to confirm this. And it doesn't seem to be mentioned on the UT site). But I think the website for the game is a good enough source. David Fluellen is slated to be in the Medal of Honor Bowl this coming Saturday (the 11th).

Here's a link to the rosters page: he's on the National squad.

RE: Rockets in postseason All-Star games
Been looking for a complete statistical summary of the Medal of Honor Bowl and haven't found one. But the National team, which supposedly had David Fluellen on its roster, lost 20-3 to the American squad. Apparently bad weather made for a tough day.

Next Saturday afternoon is the East-West Shrine Game, which is on the NFL Network at 4:00 Eastern. Bernard Reedy (on the West Team) and Zac Kerin (on the East squad) are on the rosters for that one.

I don't think Flu played in the game yesterday. He tweeted during the time the game was supposed to be happening. Maybe decided to devote his time to training for the combine?

Matt Wall, described by Coach Campbell as the best long snapper in the country, should be on an all-star roster.

An article on Reedy: http://www.tampabay.com/sports/college/l...rs/2161238

At least one scouting report from the practices indicated both Reedy and Kerin have both been struggling. Hopefully the put it together for the game.

RE: Rockets in postseason All-Star games
i don't think reedy is an nfl player, maybe cfl. kerin is good, maybe not as high a draft pick as some thought, but should make it in the league if he works hard and stays fairly healthy. flu is a legit nfl back. i think if he conquers the injury bug he will have a career in the league

If you have the NFL Network and are interested, don't forget you can watch the East-West Shrine Game at 4:00 Eastern. Here's a link to a story on the MAC site about players from conference schools on the rosters for today's game.

Kerin is playing on the East team while Reedy is playing on the West team...why?

Keith Wenning is a QB for the West and hopefully will be throwing the ball to Reedy.

Jordan Lynch is a QB for the East and will be taking snaps from Zac.
