It seems that there is a bot voting for Utah State in that poll. With mine, we picked up ~5000 votes over night, but as i refresh and check right now, it seems that they are picking up votes as quickly as we are now. Not that any of this matters, but I thought it was funny that they also have a bot voting.

Im not trying to be a jerk , but why do we care who has more votes to win the game, it wont have any impact on the game

We don't really care. I like online votes, but this one has absolutely no point. I just thought it was interesting that someone was botting the results.

You're overreacting. It's probably a few freshman who are excited to see their friends and family over the holidays. I can't imagine how awful the first winter in Dekalb has to be for a kid from the south. This board has seriously gone to ****.

Well, then what you're doing is projecting the gloom and doom of about 5 posters who have vomited that crap all over this board for the last three weeks because they feel personally cheated by the loss in Detroit.

I haven't seen any tweets from anyone suggesting they aren't interested. In fact, I've seen a lot of the seniors say stuff to the effect that it's the last time they'll ever put on the uniform and thanking their teammates and families.

Just because Badmoon is still pissed that the beatdown he predicted didn't happen and Maddawg has been writing depressing poetry in his basement for the month of December doesn't really mean that Anthony Wells or Jared Volk feel the same way.

NIU will win.

Feeling allot more confident after MWC two best teams got crunched by mediocre unranked PAC 12 teams.
Also read an article about NIU's FB team which is motivated for its thirteenth win.

Here are some more reasons I believe that NIU should win.

MAC is under-rated relative to the MWC. So are NIU's wins over BSU and Toledo. (Throw in EIU team which beat SJSU by a very comfortable margin).
NIU has the talent to win.
NIU's 12 wins were not flukes.
NIU had only one bad loss.
Jordan Lynch has not lost two games in a row.
NIU beat Iowa which can compete with USC and WAshington.
Unlikely to have bad pass coverage two games in a row.
TLL is going to play.

Utah State has their QB back which should make the game very interesting.

Overall feeling very bullish about NIU's chances of winning its third bowl game in four years.

41-24 NIU comes out strong and we see why we missed Daron so much in the MACC. Two TD's for him and NIU doesn't look back after scoring the first TD. First team in history of NIU with 13 wins after this one

Boise had just lost the HC who had guided them for the better part of a decade and also dismissed their starting QB for violating team rules. Wouldn't judge their loss too harshly considering how coaching changes have made it tough for the Huskies to win title games(Kill's last year).

Still though you have to feel good about NIU's chances being led by a veteran playing his last game in a Huskie uni vs a talented redshirt Freshman(garretson)

Garretson is actually a true freshman this year. He was redshirting this year until Chuckie Keeton went down and it became apparent that Harrison wasn't going to cut it.

As far as The Boise and Fresno losses go, USC is actually a very good team. They have some great talent but started the year poorly because of a terrible coach. They were playing great by the end of the season. Oregon State is also a pretty good team and Boise has been struggling this year. We lost to them right after Chuckie Keeton went down and we were trying Harrison at QB. I think that game would have gone differently at any other point in the season. Regardless, Utah State finished ahead of Boise in the conference standings so it's hard to say that they are the 2nd best team in the MWC.

I don't know how the D gets fixed when we had all year to work out the kinks.
