Someone at Kansas State did a survey of the 7 deadly sins and plotted it on US maps. Here is what he found for greed (note: I added a few university sports logos where appropriate):



There are areas of intense greed - notably, the Northeast. I thought it was ironic that Maryland, Rutgers, and Texas A&M are all in "high greed" areas...

Now THAT is fascinating! Of course I would love to see K-State's survey and audience.

Greed also seems to be highly correlated with liberal locations.

More seriously ... having been to Miami and Los Angeles ... they both have areas of STAGGERING wealth gaps. Only in South Beach can you get a homeless man sleeping on the curb next to a Lamborghini.

I think that, essentially, was his methodology - find areas of extreme gaps in wealth.
