That's fantastic, great for Tuke! He has achieved his dream. And he got out of the most thankless job around, defensive coordinator in the MAC.

Sounds like he has signed up for a turn around situation. I hope that they give him time to build the program and if he does a great job why wouldn't NIU consider him down the road. I will watch his career and root for his success because I will never forget what he did for our program.

Maybe it won't suck as bad. But the MAC West goes through Dekalb next year so good luck.

Looks like NIU may have just found its non-conference opponent through 2025 with this move.

Congrats to him. Wish him well.

I wish Tuke well, but I thought he'd get a better HC job than this. Always thankful for the job he did after Kill left before the bowl game.

Toledo bought him to beat us and it didnt work. I am glad he left us and I wish he stayed at Toledo. I wonder who Toledo will get now its still a good school to recruit out of.

3 win team each of the last three years. From the limited info of scores, they may not have been utterly noncompetitive. Last HC had 8 years with only 1 winning season so Tuke will probably have a long rope. Get them to be halfway decent and he could get the kind of respect Trent Miles picked up for making Indiana State not terrible.

Also, their basketball coach is Dickey Nutt.

Hey, Kill and these other guys had to start somewhere as a HC. I expect Tuke will do well and be a HC of a MAC type program within 5 years.

Just like him wanting out of DeKalb. Both are stupid statements.
