In my mind, Memphis teams and teams that were more known nationally are two separate categories:
Locally, you have to go with the Moondogs, the Fabulous Ones, and a team that was REALLY underrated for their time, PG-13.
When you're talking on a national level, the teams that come to mind are the Rock n Roll Express, the Steiner Brothers, the Outsiders (Hall and Nash)...too many to name. I could go for days here.

One of my faves that stood the test of time will always be the rock and roll express.
(Seen em lately? rode hard and hung up wet doesn't even BEGIN to describe it)

The Legion of Doom... the Road Warriors!!!!
Sting and Luger made a very good team, as did Nikita Koloff and Ricky Steamboat.
The Midnight Rockers and I really liked Bad Company.

In their late 50s, beer guts hanging, and still rocking the bandannas and mullets, (or at least Ricky Morton is)....more power to 'em.

I would have to say the Legion of Doom, the Road Warriors and The Midnight Express (Beautiful Bobby and Sweet Stan, though I would say Jim Cornette really sold them well). I would also have to through in the Freebirds and the Fabulous Ones (childhood favorite).
