The Big East....Football that is........Much overrated as a conference..Not one, with an exception of Louisville and West Virginia...are any better that C-USA teams.....Of course, basketball is a whole different matter,,,with the Big East only second to the ACC in strength....My hats are off to the Louisville Cardinals and what their administration has done to build their football program....I still think their fans are @#$holes...lol....But you have to admire the football team...They are doing more than the basketball program..........Good luck this season...Eagleghost OFF......

Damn Eagle, are you not felling well, are is someone else playing around on your computer?

If it hadn't been for the crappy comment about Louisville fan's, I would have had to have thanked you.

From OG Eagle/Eagle Ghost that is about as good as it going to get.

He is bad but not as angry and flat out hateful as his cohort Eaglefan2999/Eagle in Yune. IMHO many on the C-USA board really don't care for him and some actually took up for UofL against his anti-Louisville rants.

Hmmm....USF who finished middle of the pack in the BigEast demolished C-DOA's runner up, UCF. You do the math.

And Big East Champ and Sugar Bowl Champ could barely beat CUSA also-ran and under .500 Team ECU at WVU's home field.

What does that say about your Champ?

Says very weak Champ if you look at "one game".

It never ceases to amaze me how someone can look at one game and make judgement. Irregardless of anyone elses opinion, WVU won 11 games and lost one. The one game lost being to rival Virginia Tech.
Yes the Sugar Bowl was one game and I really think it set the tone for the upcoming season for WVU. Is it so hard for people to imagine that WVU just might be legit? WVU could "possibly" be looking at a stretch of greatness under the direction of Coach Rich Rodriguez. Then again just another lofty expectation with disappointment. However it turns out is yet to be seen, but don't be a hater if WVU climbs the college polls and stays there for a while, it's way overdue for Mountaineer fans to have a National Championship in college football and your opinions aren't really a difference maker in the outcome. Hard work, dedication and the desire to make it happen is what I see in Coach Rod and his Mountaineers. So be warned when your time comes to face the WVU Mountaineers on the field, please keep your opinion of how overrated they are until after the game, then come talk to me. 04-rock

Of course one game comparison is STUPID....and that's why I respond to the statement above on how one person did just that with UCF/USF game last year with:

Says very weak Champ IF you look at "one game".

Sorry you didn't catch that.

Tried to show absurbity by being absurb. (Which is pretty easy to do actually!) ;-)

Wasn't meant to be a "knock" on WVU.

It's not absurb if it's true.

USF completely dominated UCF on both sides of the ball. USF was the better team last year and the two teams played 10 games USF would win the overwhelming majority. That complete was the domination. It's not my fault UCF fans are in denial.

UCF did nothing after this game other than lose to all the good teams on the schedule and struggle to beat all the bad teams on the schedule. 8 wins against 8 bad teams.

Poor KL first she whine like a b!tch for years, begging to USF prove it's better than UCF on the field. Yet when USF beats the Tinmen convincingly last Fall, all of the sudden head to head match ups mean nothing. If head to head match ups don't matter then why is your fanbase have a boner to play USF ever year?

All too familiar pattern from KL.....

For years KL would come over to the CUSA board and brag about UCF's recruiting classes Rivals rankings. However, when UCF went into the tank for 3 years all of a sudden recruiting rankings didn't matter anymore. Fast forward to today, and KL is once again bragging about recruiting rankings.

USF completely dominated Louisville on both sides of the ball last year as well, I hardly doubt USF would in two from UL if they played ten. Everyone gets lucky.

So you are saying USF got lucky against UCF?

I guess the gaping holes created by our offensive line against your defense was luck?

I recently created a DVD version of last year's game for my brother as a "birthday gift" and I think one of the telling shots of the night was Pat Julmiste 7 yards behind the line of scrimmage with two USF offensive lineman basically looking for some one to get close enough to hit.

USF was dominated on both sides of the ball.

Defensively, UCF's two scores were setup by two bonehead USF plays.

Moffet was running for his life all night.

You tend to sound more like guru these days than the pointed but frequently objective KL of years ago, so excuse me if you guys just blend together.

You really seem to get off on other people's misfortunes. Sad....
