This late? That is likely not a good sign. But, maybe it means that Ely has the tools to be the guy for the next couple seasons and word is out...?

I believe it was Wake Forest who is coming in quickly on him. I think he had/has an official visit this weekend or next.

Big recruiting night for UT with the possibility of few more high profile student-athletes.

Not looking like one of the top 2 classes in the MAC this time 'round...and that's ok if the guys we do actually sign come in ready to focus and work hard for 4 (or 5) years. I'm tired of having others call us out on the productivity of the recent "top" classes. Not gonna get excited over HS stats and the "highlight" videos they show us on signing day anymore. Want to be excited by play on the field at this level instead.

Maybe we won the MAC sweepstakes but now that a new coach can offer him an ACC spot instead of a MAC spot the relative warmth of North Carolina during football season is starting to look more appealing to Mr. Smith
