We could get to 6-6 with a win tomorrow at home vs. Kennessaw St. The last 4 years we have averaged about 10-11 wins a year, so if we could get to 6 around Christmas time it would be pretty good for a new 1st year coach.

We lost to the defending champs Louisville by 16 the other night, and I just noticed that Louisville beat down Mo State by 30 tonight. Louisville has won by 28-40 points In i beleive the past 5-6 games and WKU was the only close game they had. Makes me feel a little better about WKU's direction this season. The game against USM could set the tone for the rest of our season.

75-62 final. Ole Miss wins. Some telling stats. Ole Miss was 21-27 on FT while ULM was 5-10. Ole Miss only committed 11 fouls the entire game. They only committed 4 in the second half. Now, if I wanted to be a conspiracy theorist, I find it very hard to believe with the new emphasis on hand checking that a team can play that clean.

Oh well, ULM shot piss poor and missed too many in close and had the opportunities. Not too bad of a showing from a team that is just playing their 6th game together.

WKU up 5 at halftime against USM 30-25. Our new guards that started for us last Saturday against Louisville have transformed our team. We have discovered a novel thing....driving to the basket.

Ga. Southern beats Kennessaw St. by 18. We are now 6-6. We had a very good shooting 2nd half tonight.

WKU beats what was a 9-1 Southern Miss tonight by 3. Was a great game of basketball.

Good win for the Toppers. These are the types of wins the league needs. The Cajuns have a deceptively tough game against Jackson State tonight on the road. Cajuns are without two starters.

Good win Tops. Not sure if we are there yet, but sure warms my heart to see you list ULM in the top of the conference list. Richard will turn this once proud program around. I see us finishing middle of the pack this year. Game against la tech is 588 tickets away from a sellout, so things are looking up. At least we hopefully won't destroy the RPI for everyone this year.

Why are we without two starters?

Troy MBB tied at half w/UC Santa Barbara in Logan, UT. UCSB has wins over Cal and UNLV this year.
