Players transferring
I just read 1 of Florida's QB is transferring and is eligible to play immediately. That for me thinking about other players coming and going.

I know in previous years there has been a website who tracks all players who will be transferring. Does anyone know the address of said website?

RE: Players transferring
NIU isn't going to pull the trigger on any transfers, the closest we had was that WMU QB right (didn't the coach not let him leave or something like that haha), but yeah... i remember when all the Penn St. stuff happened, in my mind i was 100% sure NIU would try and snatch someone up, but nope, not a single movement. I've given up on players transferring here... now maybe if we wouldve won the MACC, there would be some hope, but idk, 2 BCS bowls in a row wouldve been better to throw around at some of these guys who are jumping ship at their current programs. Sad part is they have a good shot at playing time... ESPECIALLY on the defensive side of the ball.

How many transfers end up doing much of anything? There's a reason they're transferring in the first place. That guy from Ball St that Lynch slung off his back to pick up the 1st down on 3rd & 8? Ohio St transfer.

By the way, the former WMU QB did transfer here. He's on campus now.

Places like Akron get all worked up about transfers... and they rarely work out.

The Akron CB Lynch destroyed last year? Florida State transfer.

Ken Bishop was a juco transfer. As was Akeem Daniels. Juco transfers are the way to go. 2 years of post HS playing experience means they should be ready to contribute right away. They also would come with less baggage than a D1 transfer. At least you'd think.

Will Akeem still be day-to-day for Spring practices?

I'd take a transfer like Russell Wilson.

RE: Players transferring
who knows, but yes for a transfer who would be eligible to play this year, NIU would be VERY intriguing. Great Oline and all WRs are back... Saw what Lynch did

This is hypothetical... But... WHAT IF, Jameis Winston wanted to transfer to NIU. Would you guys want him?

I think it was more everyone here wanting Jordan to win the Heisman more than hating Winston

As a football player or an English major?

He had a scholarship to Stanford...he might not be the best public speaker, but he obviously has intelligence. They have much higher standards for admission, even for their athletes, than most colleges.

It isn't like Lynch is up for a Rhodes scholarship, so not sure why so much venom towards Winston.
