Seems like just yesterday.

Drove down and back that day. Wouldn't have missed it for the world.

Great time!

I loved being at the game and enjoying all the activities, but there's still something odd about watching a football game indoors. Just doesn't seem right.

That ranks at the top of Tiger Sports experiences for me. That was definitely a good time.

It's a shame that we didn't capitalize on the momentum and excitement that had been created around the program at that time.

A lot of people seem to forget those times and the fact that Tommy was the Big Coach on campus (and in the city) not Cal. Too bad he used that leverage to get a raise for himself instead of all those facilities upgrades he blamed on his way out.

NO bowl is a top 5 Tiger sporting moment for sure though and for that I am grateful to Tommy and company.

It is the single greatest moment I have ever had as a Tiger. I will never forget the three days I spent with other Tiger fans, smiles from ear to ear, that amazing parade, the awesome pre-game party at the dome, the thousands of fans singing and waving pom-pons at the game. We will capture that feeling again, on a much bigger stage, I have no doubt.

My top 3 Tiger events:

1.) Tigers win New Orleans Bowl 27-17. Possibly the best pep rally I have ever been part of. Still have the pic of all the players on the field right after the win. Huge smiles.

2.) Tigers take down Manning @ LB Nov 9th. 1996. Unbelievable experience. Sat on the LB wall watching the posts get taken down.

3.) Final Four - Went with my son. Hate we lost but my son & I will always have this experience.

I thought the football program was at least AT the corner if not TURNING it. How wrong I was. It's been downhill ever since. I think rock bottom was 2010 and 2011 but even though if feels like maybe we have an upward trajectory we're still basically dragging along the bottom.

Still hate that DeAngelo couldn't play in that game.

I'm going to slightly disagree with your sentiment. I think, if you are ever going to get this modern-day version of the football Tigers off the ground, you've got to have good coaches before good facilities. You've got to have both, but the good coaches part is vital. And his biggest complaint was not having enough money to keep GOOD assistants (like Randy Fichtner) around. Plus, you've got to make the coaching jobs here desirable in general. Money does that.

Our real problem is that we've got a cheap-ass fan base...... me included. I had a nightmare once when we were first accepted into the BigEast that the season ticket prices were going to rise from $100 per seat to $500 per seat within a couple of years, and how was I going to afford $2500 worth of season tickets for my family. But that's what a BCS team has to charge, right?

I just ran a Google search to check for reference, and Ole Miss tickets were $325 and $220 in 2012. Don't know what they were last year, so I guess it's not as bad as I imagine.

I think that last drive and celebration is on youtube somewhere. First time with the Tigers was watching the fans sing I'm So Glad after that win.

I believe that those might be my top three also. I think I would move the Final Four up to one or two simply because it and the NO Bowl were more extended and complete experiences due to being multi-day road trips. The win over UT, and how it came about, packed a whole lot of fun and emotion into a very short amount of time though. Good stuff.
