He averages 4 carries a game so he will be in his prime well into his mid forties.

RE: DeAngelo 72 yard TD!
The few times I've gotten to watch the last few seasons, there are a lot of times when he is WIDE open as the outlet receiver, but doesn't get the pass.

Of course, one game last season, I was cussing Newton for ignoring DW and trying to force a pass into coverage, then a play or two later, he did throw to DeAngelo, who promptly dropped it.

Couldnt have done it without an SEC QB throwing it to him.

DeAngelo 72 yard TD!
Haha Cam has an arm and is coming around to making good decisions, but my 10 year old daughter could have thrown that one!

He also had 15 carries for 81 yards, 5.4 avg

168 total yards

Sorry for the Double post. Didn't see the first link.

I really hope DeAngelo wants to coach after his career.

Would love to see him be out RB coach.

RE: DeAngelo 72 yard TD!
I think the key here is how do our former favorite Tiger players help their team WIN.

DW's run helped the Panthers win. Coupled with the Saints loss to the Rams today, it sets up a monumental game next Sunday in Charlotte between the Saints and Panthers.

I love former Tigers as much as anyone, but giving shout outs to former players just because of their stat line should really be weighed by how much said player is helping his team win.

For example, DJ may have a good game here or there, but last I checked, his team (Illissnikapuolos - sp?) is near the bottom when it comes to wins and losses.

It's a team game and DW has always understood that.

I dunno that it's fair to compare the contributions of an NFL vet and 1st round pick to a recent graduate plying his trade overseas.

Man, it's crazy to hear Deangelo being referred to as "the old man" in that video. It was an awesome run and it was pretty cool to see Deangelo turn the jets on in the open field again.

I saw it on Fox game break during the Cowboys-Packers game. He did turn on the afterburner.

Great all around game for DeAngelo.
