I vaguely remember watching John Kilzer play in games at the coliseum.

He is a musician. I think that 2 of his songs spent some time in the billboard top-40. I saw him perform several times in the late 80's-early '90's. It's funny to remember that he was a D-1 basketball player.

He was part of a package deal to get Marion "The Elevator" Hillard.

He was the Coach at Copiah-Lincoln Community College and Hillard played for him.

.

That is correct.

Apparently "The Elevator" has been employed by FedEx for over 25 years.

Red Blue Jeans was a charted recording. I don't remember a second one, but that could be a result of my fading memory.

The 70's Houston Astro uniform days?

Yes. Loved em. We actually played a game in houston with them. It was cool.

Kilzer was my English instructor for a semester at Memphis State. One day he was late for class and said "you don't want to be here, I don't want to be here...let's go home"
