It was at least 30 minutes before kickoff.

How many times did the reporter state that he had contacted other BOT members but "got no response"? My take on that is that while they can with impunity vote in secret, they don't want to make public statements on camera that might be obvious lies.

Cindy did a good job, with the exception of that "medical school" team characterization. She knows full well that UAB is a comprehensive university , just got her lips going out of sync with her brain on that one. Otherwise, all of us who know her well also know that she is a consumate fan of UAB (the University) and its athletic teams known as the Blazers.

I made them all this year, too. But as long as the team continues to lose, this will be the norm, it's not uncommon to any football program in America, but Birmingham's football fans are dying to embrace UAB as "their team", the consistent losing has prevented this from occurring. Playing in "Lesion" Field doesn't help, either. I think that news report on WVTM on Monday night did as much to bring to the forefront the standout embarrassment that "Lesion" Field is as it did UAB's lack of success in football.

Some may contend that the two intangibles go hand in hand.
