Doesn't that seem like a relief for the players? In these types of games I'm pretty sure the players wouldn't want to talk to the media in the first place. I think he should open them up to the media because of it not just when they win.

Speaking with the media is a privilege not a requirement…privileges should be earned not give to you because u think u deserve it

In their position as a student athlete 2 things are required
1) Attend and pass classes
2) Practice basketball

Right now the only person the players should be hearing from or talking to is the coaching staff.

I probably would have let Pellom speak, and if you sell sponsorships for the radio slot for player interviews if this becomes a trend the radio people may ask to be reimbursed.

But, all and all, no big deal.

Maybe Pastner should stayed off the air as well. The whole team was ill prepared, that's the Coach's fault. If it's one or two guys, then same on the them.
