Decide to play with INTENSITY they can play with anyone in the country and could go all the way. Unfortunately, they do not come to play in many instances. When we play hard and smart, we are one of the country's best. However, we are not good enough to "out-talent" top 10 teams. It is absolutely necessary that we bring what I'm going to deem the, "OSU2" attitude in EVERY game. When we get to where that is our normal night in and night out effort, then we're solid. Until then - it'll be "fun."

BTW - this is not a function of coaching. It is a function of inner heart, pride and desire.

Our FT shooting percentage could kill us in the big games. Hack-a-Tiger will be in full force.

Playing at home against an over matched opponent who must not have had finals.

By the way, did you hear that their starting PG and primary energy giver did not play?

Heck, they may have more "excuses" than us.

Wr shot 74% that is pretty decent

Our shots didn't fall tonight, we were rusty. We showed resiliency. We didn't play poorly, the shots just weren't falling, CJP did a great job finding something that worked. As frustrating as it was to watch we still won by double digits. We learn and grow and move on to Florida. Just hope the shots fall on Tuesday.

I'm not as worried about our free throw shooting as I have been in years past. I believe the guys struggling are either just off their game right now, or just not focusing. When I look at our team as a whole, most of our kids have a nice stroke.

Years before, we just had some bad shooters. Nick King is not going to shoot 50%. I think we're going to turn it around. Shaq is not a good free throw shooter, but how many bigs are?

Spot on.

Dixon did not play well tonight.....we won because of the other guys ...we beat Ok State because of Dixon though....when the shots fall, it's a different deal...

These are not traits of a great team.

Shaq's silly reach in foul at halfcourt in the first half really hurt us. It sent him to the bench with 2 fouls. He was the difference maker in the second half. And Dixon is the other key. He's got learn to not force it. Actually it would be good if we ran some plays where he can catch and shoot. He was 52% from 3 before last night.
