Golf club
Yep. I broke lob wedge in high school (stupid angry teenager throwing it in the air after a bad shot) and I broke my 7 iron a few years back when my follow through hit a tree. My luck is my dad used to build clubs as a hobby so he could fix them easily for me. The 7 iron was a done deal. The lob wedge I had to wait a while on so I could be punished for my actions.

This sure got complicated, didn't it? 03-lmfao

Sorry if this sounds kinda bahummbuggy, but a 22yearold playing Spectras does not need a hundred dollar wedge. Many of the golf shops will have many to choose from that would fit his needs and wants just fine. If his clubs were a full set you might even be able to find a direct replacement.

Yes it did gt. Lmao I have heard of a 7 iron but no clue about that lob wedge. Lol

Not at all father goose, I figured that when I had never heard of spectra and couldn't really find anything About it.

I guess one thing that has me hard finding one is that I'm looking for something that says pitching wedge but they have all see other names.

Ugh stupid golf

Is that golf store in Trinity Commons still there? If so, I know they used to carry a wide variety of used clubs. Perfectly good, but used. I think these guys are right on, if your 22 yo is playing Spectras, he doesn't need a $100 replacement PW, it would be worth more than his whole set. I recently purchased a Ping Eye II PW used from Edwin Watts Golf here in LR for 59.99. It is OLD but does exactly what I need it to.

Ok now I am thinking of getting a new set. I have not made my mind up yet. What would be a step above the spectral. I know it is a no no to really even look at Walmart but I am looking there right now bc I have a gift card there. Doesn't mean I will buy there or if I even get a new set

Here is a solid set from Sports Authority. Taylor Made makes good clubs and this seems like a good deal. Not sure what your budget is, but these aren't bad at all.

For a new set of irons you don't need to go crazy. I'd check out Mulligans Golf. A used iron performs not different than a new one. The technology hasn't changed that much on irons compared to drivers and such. The big thing is to make sure his swing speed matches the shaft flex. If you have that then you are okay.

As far as a pitching wedge, it doesn't cost much to get a shaft replaced and gripped.

I miss playing golf.

RE: Golf club
There's actually a pretty decent set on the Tiger-Bay forum right now:

http://csnbbs.com/thread-637768.html

May be worth looking into. Doesn't include woods, but this would be a nice upgrade from the Spectras. And it does come with a PW. But, it's probably a good idea for your son to swing a few before purchasing to figure out what he likes best.
