I noticed that in the staff directory on the official EMU Athletics page, Creighton's name is added to the football staff while all assistants names have been removed. Apparently at the moment there are no assitant coaches in the football program.

I'd keep Hart.

The other night all but one asst (plus the new HC) we're removed from Drakes website. Now more names are back up. Could mean all of these guys are staying.

I believe footballscoop mentioned the offensive coordinator at Drake was the new coach and all the assistants were staying. or at least that is what I thought it said.

Yeah, PFS talked to Creighton's wife, I believe. She said none of the assistants were coming with him. We'll see if that holds true.

I'd definitely keep Hart. He was English's main recruiter for Michigan, and the reason we got guys like Juwan Lewis and Jaleel Canty. Maybe he becomes OC? I don't know.

I don't know whether he will keep them or not but I always thought Burpee did a nice job with the TEs and Downing with the WRs.

Hart has also done well in Indiana.

Yes he did, was even there last week. True professionalism. Indiana is a growing market for mid level college fb players.

It might be fun to speculate, but you're asking the wrong guys. Take a good look at how close we were to identifying the HC.

I just hope folks here don't take their life savings and invest in Powerball tickets after using some kind of 'statistical' scheme to predict a random event.

Hart should be the only one offered, if any.

How about Erik Campbell as WR coach or even OC? Before I hear about any anti-UM stuff, sure he played and coached there, he definitely knows the area and I am sure he and Creighton's paths have crossed in Iowa. Campbell is coaching in the CFL right now and could be what Creighton is looking for in an asst. coach in a pass happy offense.

Not sure why you would want a longtime Carr assistant to coordinate a passing spread?

I think both of the coaches you listed did a great job this season..

A question I would ask is weather this is common for a new HC to do? I would think he would want to have people around him that understood and accepted his offensive thinking. I hope he bring a coach or two with him.. I am sure after he was told he had the job, he started reaching out to people he wanted on both sides of the ball..
