He's a hard worker I'll give him that. That's good because he has a steep mountain to climb and he's already started.

Emu79,

Sorry, that came across wrong after I reread what I posted.. You didn't say that you wouldn't support the new head coach..

I was still dealing with my own demons when I posted this.. I am still working on myself to support the new coach because of the expectation that I had about who I wanted but he didn't want EMU.. So he and his new team can go jump in the nearest dam lake.. Again, sorry...

1st drink on me at the bowl game in 2014..

NU, pardon my lets look at reality because I've been through 25 years of press conferences, of slogans, of non existent attendance, of money being poured into the program, of sloppy tackling, non existent fundementals, of losing to FCS schools, and promises of the new football Messiah. So when someone says the new coach will take us to the promised land I'm from Missouri-show me. The same guys who had rose colored glasses when English got hired wiped em clean and sparkled them up. I supported EMU football for 25 years and when I went to school there just like men's basketball and Ray (my recruiting class is ineligible already and the season hasn't started) Scott whose 6'11 center had the coordination of a bowling ball Jim Boone, Milt Barnes Ramsey etc etc. There are pluses and minuses that come with hiring Creighton. He's OUR coach now and deserves our support.

I get your point. He has no experience recruiting scholarship players. I'll keep repeating it; he still has a staff to hire. If he hires guys with no experience recruiting scholarship players, then I'll agree with you, but I don't see him doing that.

I agree wholeheartedly. But it sounds like he isn't doing that.

Nice video...

He looked a little excited when he met Roback. And was that Jim Harkema at the presser?

Dear WoodenNickle,
Great video! That helps to understand what a lot of his days (Creighton) are going to be like in the future. I also like what he said to the team. "You didn't choose me, but I am choosing you". Yep, that was Harkema.
