The Jayhawks are too young to win it all.

Except they do have a post grad player

A big one.

That's an interesting concept. When one player does that and it doesn't turn out so well, usually he is labeled selfish.

Exactly...See Will Barton...

He carried us most of the season with his play then he laid an egg in the NCAA and was labelled as selfish.

Last week I was daydreaming and envisioned this team gelling and hitting on all cylinders with the pedal to the metal, on both ends of the court. Then I realized this is highly possible. These guys can do it. They have the right mixture.

Joe being Joe, Geron being Geron, Dix being Dix, and Chris on fire. Thingy is, add Shaq & Austin playing well along with Pellom & Dom along with King and an in-the-flow Iverson?

If we play well enough and get a high seed (1-2, yep 1-2) we may run the table in March. Joe may end up being proclaimed "The King of Memphis" for real. Kool.

Not this trash again. Last year we didn't have a post player (including Shaq) that could make a shot more than 3' from the basket. Knowing what we know now; did you really want our players to be feeding Black continuously down low? The guards couldn't throw the ball to Black unless he was completely wide open and they could put it in a tiny window where he might not drop it.

When I posted the overrated thread, I mentioned that Kansas lost their entire starting 5, and didn't have anyone back averaging 6 points per game. They are showing how overrated they are.

Except for Wiggins, we are better at every position than Kansas is.

I agree that there are no teams like the Final Four teams of 2008 this year. Our schedule is well set up for us to get a 3 or even a 2 seed if we can win a decent share of our big games.
