No joke. I went to BSUfans, but very few ppl were even posting. I tried to register, but still haven't been approved. That was several days ago.

did you guys check your internet connection, sometime when someone tries to use the phone it can mess with your modem.

yeah... that site is pretty odd...

It took me three tries to get an account there and the third try was pending for like a week.

Sorry didn't realize you Yankees still used such stuff. I'll type slower for your 1200 baud modem.

I can't say for sure but I think they had some major issues with the site a few years ago and the few members they had migrated from it, not a lot of action since then. You'll probably have more luck engaging BSU fans here on the MAC board.

The Dead BSU scout board has a few great posts on how to create fake passports for illegal trips overseas, if that floats any of your boats...

Ball State has the least active online fan base in the MAC.

I would prefer to have a board here but that would make 3 us.

It's something with the administrator. I've tried to create accounts in the past but the admin never approves / is on a long vacation. I've spoke with Alan (OTP) to see if he can assist, and I don't think he's had luck helping me out. PITA if you ask me.

Its not worth it. their only real discussion on our game has revolved around the lack of electricity or internet availability that somehow exists in Arkansas.

We're relegated to starting crazy topics on our message board directed at Ball State, and then seeing how they react on their own board.

For our Ball State fans here...is it really true that Ball State's administration does not care about football? I think we are just mildly curious why Lembo wanted to coach at Wake and UConn, when he could probably get a better job with another good season.

I know Red Wings are made there, in Mount Ida I believe. Great shoes!

Please don't judge BSU fans by a select few. Most of us are the respectful sort.

That whole thread just features a few people anyway. The BSUFans board is actually quite active - not sure what you're talking about there. Is there still a test to start an account? Perhaps you are not getting approved because of that. I think most of our fans respect Arkansas State. Your administration has done a good job of building a formidable, sustainable program there. The coaching movement looks more like a bit of a perfect storm a few years in a row to me.

No, some of the people on that board are a bit off. Some of them think the school spends too much on athletics and should drop to FCS, while another portion thinks the school doesn't spend enough and pretty much wants new everything and a pay hike for the coaches.

They also don't like our retiring president because she spent most of her time on campus remodeling and building new academic buildings and residence halls, rather than building up athletics, even though the remodel of Schumann Stadium happened while she was here.

This past year, the school kicked off a new $20M fund-raiser for athletics, which includes redoing the baseball and softball fields, a new football complex, golf facility, and basketball practice facility.
