Well, Pastner didn't let Shaq play football, so I wouldn't be surprised if Fuente didn't let Craft play basketball.

I just do not see how he would get any minutes so I doubt he plays.

I didnt watch him hardly any last year so I dont know too much other than he was pretty good . Did he have any BB offers ?

I have this funny feeling that if he were to suit up he'd make these doods tougher. He'd be to the guards what Pellom is to the BIGS, thus there en lies your Final Four team.

If he could bring more mental toughness as a walk-on that would be good .

Yes he can, he has already participated in his scholarship sport, so he can walk on for Tiger basketball.

If Shaq had decided to play football he would have had to wait until this year because he was on basketball scholarship during football season last year.

You are 100% correct. Rule was put into place to prevent Bear Bryant from stashing extra scholarship players on the basketball team.

Exactly, but to further clarify re the above post, it is not reciprocal. The rule specifically applies to students who are on scholarship in another sport not being allowed to play football until their 2nd year, for the reason you stated.

Sam Craft should get in a bball mindset ASAP. He’s an excellent FB talent but he is also an exceptional bballer.

No better time than now to let the 4 seniors school him.

Craft needs to be the #1 receiver or let him play tailback. The kid has a nose for the end zone and yards after catch.

Did he attempt any passes this year? Seems like they would have a play or two drawn up for him to throw the ball.
