Saban to Texas, Pastner to Texas, Fuente takes over Hoops for Pastner.

Good grief

What would you dispute? The secondary is much better with this staff. So is total defense.

115th ranked offense out of 123

unfathomably bad. no one associated with anything this bad should have to be fired. they should walk away and find a new profession and deny their association.

can you imagine if memphis basketball had an offense that ranked 8th from the worst.

That would be the head man. He made the personnel choices and did the play calling. Cannot lay this at the feet of the OC.

we have been over this. the OC is in the booth the HC wears a headset. The OC reads the defense and advises the OC. The HC calls in the play. Hate on Fuente all you want. We need a new OC. Good grief man. Everthing is ultimately the HC's responsiblity. Go that route next time.

Something has to change with the offense or i am going to go apoplectic and require medical attention next football season.

Do you not see that our offensive line would make any coordinator look rough?

I offense was putrid. I completely agree. That said, we have a very well respected staff, including Dickey.

Get some athletic beef up front, catch balls, quit holding, and putting it on the turf and the offense looks completely different.

We all knee this would be a process. Give these guys time to recruit their type of player before passing judgement on their abilities.

Correct. Our coaches are all across the country looking at linemen now.

Key word is ADVISES. The final decision belongs to the HC in the current scheme. The buck has to stop there. No one is hating. Just stating the facts. You have got to get over your defensive paranoia when it comes to any of the Tiger's HC in any of the sports. There has been only 1 perfect man in the history of the world and he died over 2000 years ago. CJF is still new in the position of being a HC and is learning on the job and part of that learning is making mistakes and hopefully learning from them.

Give the present staff some more talent and depth before passing judgement.

Yep. Our OL this year was the worst I have ever seen. It didn't help that neither of the JUCOs panned out.

Actually, many teams, like RU, make asst coaching changes almost immediately after their regular season ended (RU fired 3 coaches).

Don't try to talk sense here. It's been bad for so long there is virtually no point of reference

Absolutely. I have been saying this all season. Every negative comment on the program should be put on hold until year 4 at minimum.

You would had to be in the stands or around the program during the Porter era to understand why this would not apply to every staff. This staff has shown enough to warrant the additional time. Plus this staff has people on it with real track records.
Sure about that?
