I'm going plus 1. I don't think I have been to a road basketball game since we played Ole Miss when I was a student. Cliff Pruitt's first game IIRC. Looking forward to it.

Last road trip I made to see UAB play was Sunday against Alabama A&M.

Last non Birmingham or Memphis road trip was to Little Rock to see them beat Arkansas.

Blazer fans,

We are looking forward to Saturday’s bus trip to Murfreesboro, TN to cheer on your UAB men’s basketball team. I wanted to follow up with the necessary trip details and thank you for supporting the program as we open conference play.

Both buses will leave promptly at noon on Saturday from the 13th Street side of Bartow Arena. Fans can park in the Bell/Ullman parking lot located directly south of the Bell building. Please arrive at Bartow Arena by 11:45 AM so we can go through the check-in process and depart on time. Fans are welcome to bring coolers with drinks and snacks on the trip. We will arrive at Slick Pig BBQ around 3 PM, and a seating area has been coordinated for our party with the restaurant. The cost of lunch is not included in the price of the trip, but I will provide menus on the bus so you can have the opportunity to review your options prior to arriving.

Your game tickets will be dispersed on the bus prior to arriving at the Murphy Center, and our seats are located within the UAB seating block. The group will meet outside the arena immediately following the game and board the two buses to travel back to Birmingham. We will not stop on the return trip home, and we hope to arrive at Bartow Arena around 10:30 PM. Both buses are equipped with a restroom and satellite televisions.
