They have 24 schools in FCS, I think that makes more sense.

I think 16 would be good, or maybe just a little bigger. If this would happen, I think I would just live in Vegas at the Mirage Sports Book. Carnegie Deli and Sports book for 4 weeks sounds better than NCAA Tournament. They should make this big enough to let smaller teams at 24th come in and provide the magical upsets. Can you imagine the possibilities? Bye Bye boring bowl games...

In that I don't think the Huskies would get killed? Our Defense is lacking, but our Offense would keep us in the game long enough. I'm pretty sure plenty of people would agree with me, but ok.

It is all about matchups, its nearly impossible to tell what NIU would have done vs OSU, probably a convincing loss but by no means at all would it have been a sure thing.

64 team playoff? How long would the regular season be, then? 2 OOC games and 6 conference games?

64 is too many. Six weeks? 16 is a better number.

When it all shakes down to 4 power conferences, it becomes the 4 champs, 6/7 at large from the 4, +2/1 from non-aq.
But FOX will have to be bought with their current B-12 contract. They want to be a player.

Play 11 regular season games, 4 teams get buys, 4 games each of the 1st 2 weeks. Pretty simple. If you go 16, 4-10-2, or more which I think is ridiculous and would destroy the entire bowl system. And believe me, that's the LAST thing they want for recruiting, fan base and over all exposure.

The whole thing holding it up is the big boys not wanting to give up their conf. championship games and lose that extra home. game.

I think college football would be more profitable if they did a 24 team playoff system. America LOVES watching a good Cinderella story.
