His touch inside is one of the best I've seen. His floater is dreamy to watch for the avid basketball fan. So smooth.

Love him. Not sure what the comments regarding his attitude are about. I must have missed something. Well, I'm glad I missed it, because I love him. Go get em CDR.

I remember hearing that until he was 20 years old, CDR had NEVER lost a game of one-on-one. Old man moves, indeed.

Charlotte Bobcats President of Basketball Operations Rod Higgins announced today that the team has signed free agent guard/forward Chris Douglas-Roberts and waived forward James Southerland. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed. Douglas-Roberts, who was playing with the NBA D-League Texas Legends, becomes the fifth D-League Gatorade Call-Up of the 2013-14 season.

A four-year NBA veteran, the 6-7 Douglas-Roberts has played in 161 career games for the Nets, Bucks and Mavericks. He has career averages of 7.5 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 20.3 minutes, while shooting .442 from the field (458-1036) and .833 from the free-throw line (265-318). Douglas-Roberts was selected by the Nets with the 40th overall pick in the 2008 NBA Draft.

Douglas-Roberts has also played in 17 career NBA D-League games with the Legends, with averages of 21.2 points, 4.9 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.5 steals in 36.9 minutes. He is shooting .487 from the field (113-232), .407 from beyond the three-point line (22-54) and .889 from the free-throw line (112-126) in D-League action.

In six games for the Legends this season, Douglas-Roberts has averaged 18.7 points, 4.3 rebounds and 2.8 assists in 34.0 minutes, while shooting .472 from the field (34-72), .438 from beyond the three-point line (7-16) and .860 from the free-throw line (37-43).

Southerland signed with the Bobcats on September 5, 2013, after not being selected in the 2013 NBA Draft. He saw action in one regular-season game, playing three minutes.

Love CDR, one of my all-time favs, but sure could have used that in April 2008

If you break it down, it will make you even more sick. Here are CDR's free throw stats for the NCAA tournament.

UTA 6-7
Mississippi State 5-7
Michigan State 11-12
Texas 14-17
UCLA 9-11
Kansas 6-9

Total 51-63
81.0%

Total NOT Including 1:15 - 0:16 seconds Kansas Game (0-3)
51-60
85.0%

In the Kansas game he was 6-9 from the line, which included 4-4 before the last 1:15 and he made 2-2 in overtime.

RE: Bobcats sign CDR
He was a great college player, no doubt about it. As a pro he has averaged 20 minutes a game for his career, shooting 27% from three and averaging roughly 7.5 points. That is the definition of average and below average from 3. Yet, still enough to ride the bench for an nba team. However when you are the definition of average in the nba that means there are literally a hundred guys that are all competing for the same jobs at the same skill level as you. He separated himself from that pack on the negative side by his poor attitude. He was my all time favorite tiger and I have followed his career since he left. Even when he signed to play in Italy. I can tell you that every time he leaves somewhere the quote is always something about maturity. He has tried to change his game now, supposedly he wants to be a point forward. Again, sounds nice, he spent his whole nba career as a ball stopper to this point. Best of luck to him and I will be watching.

Yet the media harped on Memphis' poor ft shooting. We had the right guys on the line at the end of regulation. As I recall, CDR and Rose were both over 70% on the year (correct me if I'm wrong).

He hasn't played yet. 3 games, first was the day he was signed (Wed), then Fri & Sat. Hopefully he'll get in after practicing with the team more.

I saw where Rob had been signed by a team in the Phillipines and he had significant impact with them winning the championship. I didn't find where/if he is playing right now.

Joey is in Spain playing for FC Barcelona.

Honestly when you look at the players from the 08 final 4 in the NBA and the tigers have only 1 it makes you think that Cal may have been a pretty good coach.

The UCLA team we beat has two all stars in the league.

Plus Mbah-a-Moute and Collison, who have stuck in rotations.

The college game is not the same as the NBA. Joey's too short to play his position in the NBA. Rob is probably not bulky enough. Chris looks like he had bulked up alot since college, perhaps that has affected his shooting and slowed him down.

Plus, because Fredo just rolled it out there and let them play, they didn't enhance their fundamentals while in college.

and Howland wasn't exactly known for letting his players free flow offensively...

nobody back then knew that Russell Westbrook would be the player he is today

The difference is we had the MVP and a team that had played together longer.
