Lynch's Career Stats
Passing Yards - 5993
Rushing Yards - 4304
Receiving Yards - 17
Passing TDs- 50
Rushing TDs - 47
Receiving TDs - 1

Those are some incredible lifetime stats. To account for almost 100 TDs(with a game to go) is incredible. He needs 7 yards to go past 6k for his career.

It has been a real pleasure watching Jordan Lynch the last two years.

i made the claim on the USU board that lynch might be the best rushing QB ever. some people laughed at me. One person said it was vick and i was crazy. Here is lynch compared to vick.

Vick in two years: 1,216 yards and 17 td
Lynch in two (but older after backing up harnish): 3,696 and 39 td

Oh yeah and lynch threw for 2,500 more yards and 30 more touchdowns with 8 less picks despite 400 more attempts.

Lynch has more rushing yards and touchdowns this season than Vick had his entire college career.

Vick once ran for 210 yards....lynch once ran for 316. Then once ran for 321. This season.

Not saying he's better than Vick at being a QB. Not saying Vick wouldn't put up big numbers in the Mac. Just saying that lynchs numbers are in a different universe.

You forgot his punting stats.

RE: Lynch's Career Stats
I'm rooting hard for him to hit 6k passing and 4500 rushing for the career. That would mean the FIRST EVER single season 2k/2k passing/rushing player in history.

No way Lynch will get 200 yards rushing vs USU D. I'll be surprised if he breaks 100 yards.

He might be the best rushing quarterback ever. Those are very nice stats and certainly he is well rounded. He's not even the record holder for QB career rushing yards for college football though. I'm guessing he is 2nd.

From a passing standpoint he's an average/above average player.

Edit:

Found a good Source: http://fs.ncaa.org/Docs/stats/football_r...13/FBS.pdf
Current record holder:
4,495—Denard Robinson, Michigan, 2009-12 (723 rushes)

Keep in mind that Denard started 3 years, vs Jordan Lynch's 2 years.

I can't find a good source, but if this is accurate: http://collegefootball.about.com/od/indi...erback.htm

Then Jordan Lynch is currently the record holder.
Do you not remember this guy? He is in y'alls backyard and it wasn't that long ago. He has 4495 yards rushing as a QB. Pretty comparable numbers to Lynch across the board. He was in the Big 10 though.

Also Pat White had 4480.

So assuming that Lynch's current number is 4304, he'll probably finish 3rd.

Ah, sorry I can't keep up with that.

Anyway. I think Lynch is a great QB. Love the dual thread QB although with ours being partially made of glass it's a little nerve-racking.

Not all games, but they played a 2 qb system his freshman year and he saw a lot of time.

I think if he goes 50/50 rushing and passing td's in 2 yrs and bits of 2 others would be the most amazing stat. Tebow and Kapernick did it, but they each started 4 years.

One thing that struck met during the Heisman was that Lynch appeared bigger and taller than Manziel. Here, Lynch looks as if he has 2 inches on Manziel.

[Image: Johnny-Manziel-AJ-McCarron-Jordan-Lynch-...tation.jpg]

A&M website(along with all media outlets) list Manziel as 6-1, 210.

Lynch is listed as 6-0 216.

Interesting point Bob. I wonder what Manziel's true height will be. Winston is every bit of his height.

My favorite Lynch stat...

Only player in FBS history with 400 passing yards/150 rushing yards in one game.
