Not bad for a team that last went to a Bowl game in 1983.
Not bad for a team that went 10-2 in 2003 and did not go Bowling.
Unlike the NIU 2005 MAC west champions who beat Toledo but never went to a Bowl NIU will be selected for a Bowl game.

I'm imagining so many awful things. A mascot in lingerie....oh goodness me.

NIU was there and not BallS or Toledo.

Huskies scored 27 points against a team that had only given up 17 points in their last four games

We don't have to watch what a BCS bowl team would do to the Huskie defense.

Huskies know what they have to work on for bowl game and next season.

I can finally watch a Huskie game with my nephew, even if it is going to have to be on TV.
