I'm honestly disappointed that it's taken this long.
From the moment that EP stepped foot in The Cam he's been nothing but trouble. Starting fights with team mates both during practice and games. Never showed up for the post game stuff with the fans. Walked around campus like the rest of us owed him something because he played for our school. I'm glad he's gone.
I hope they pull his scholarship, and send him back. He clearly needs to learn that the world will not bend over backwards to kiss his ass, so he may as we'll get used to it and stop acting like his **** don't stink.
And that's what I was alluding to....almost all the posts have been directed at EP, when IMO, it is more important to look at the decision makers.
The list of 4/5 stars that fail to grasp their role as they "mature" is endless. It is also important to recognize that there are coaches/
ADs/owners at the college and pro level that continue to believe they have the magical cure for these problem type players.
I could write a book on the dichotomy of this mindset. The bottom line is if EP hasn't gotten it by now, odds are against him getting "it". At that point, Herrion has to be the one held responsible for what happens moving forward.
IMO, Herrion has to take a hard stance here and pull the trigger or make sure EP knows he only has one more chance to right himself (after a lengthy suspension)
Having said this, if EP doesn't have/cannot gain the respect from his teammates it won't matter what he does, and Herrion will have to cut him loose or lose the team altogether.
It is going to be interesting to see how this plays out.
