Saw this yesterday and if you are a USM fan you have to be very proud of Monken representing your school.

RE: Todd Monken Is A Class Act
I would assume because they are graduating they no longer count as football players in NCAA rules and regs. If the NCAA comes after you all for this then they should all burn in hell. This is a great guesture and I hope it becomes tradition.

To be honest this should be common place at all programs. There are over 13,000 players in FBS football and the NFL only drafts 224 of them every year. They are technically preparing them for the NFL so why not prepare them for the more likely profession?

I hope Monken gets you all back because you all have a coach that gets it and those are few and far between. Just made me want to root for you guys even harder.

I saw it yesterday too.

I wanted a winning season, but having a coach that gives a d@mn makes a 1 win season less painful.

You see the article about the success at Auburn can be attributed to Eloss?

I mean I can see it, the man refused to coach at USM, but now has to since he's a coordinator.

Well, those guys aren't eligible anymore, so I guess there isn't really much that can be done about it?

It would be really F'd up of the NCAA to do anything about this....so I expect sanctions to be handed down next week.

That will depend if any of the school's water was used to rub a stain off one of the suits.

Once a player has used their eligibility up, you can give them "benefits".

On a number of occasions, you hear or read about some wonderful gesture by a head football coach. This is definitely a very heartfelt gesture on his part. Look for his team to be ready to go through a brick wall for him next season. I have a feeling their "culture of losing" is about to meet its' Waterloo.

Why did you have to take a good thread and start with the Eloss talk? Let it go, man.

I imagine he had to clear this through the NCAA. If he didn't, this is a problem. The NCAA guidelines on benefits extends even beyond graduation. If it didn't then boosters could cut 6 figure checks to graduating seniors and coaches could point that out to recruits.

I think it is a great gesture, just hope it was cleared first.

We were discussing the head coach and what he did. It's a different mind set than last season, and notice, we left it at that and then you had to drink kerosene and piss on it. For shame demiveeman, for shame.
