These are not BCS rankings…These are the CBSSports.com rankings. In the "BCS" rankings listed on the CBS site Rice is 33 and Marshall is 63. Also the CBSSports.com rankings have not been updated for this week yet as they still have Ohio St 2nd.

We didn't win out which is what that would have taken. That said if we win our bowl game and finish 10-3, I bet we are get a lot of votes in the preseason.

The CUSA front office has already shown Computer Polls are how they grade out seasons if the records are the same. Mind you though ours are not now 9-3 is better than 9-4

So, do you think that means anything. We already went there and played an even better Maryland team and were 6-6 that year. I'd imagine most people didn't want to repeat that game. I'm fine with Ohio, it's just another team we should beat that beat you. Good luck with Maryland, you've beat 4 BCS schools ever so it's a tall task. You could very easily end up 9-5 with that draw and if we finish 10-3 well I'd say that worked out pretty well for us.

Like I said last week, we'll see how the season plays out when all the beans are counted.
