We played GA Tech with the same group last year and crushed them something like 49-21... We're used to it.

It will be a challenge for sure. Especially in the Armed Services Bowl. MT better be prepared. Navy is still scoring on ECU.

I like our chances... especially with just over 3 weeks to prepare, and navy is solely focused on Army right now.

We held them to 9 points and under 100 yards rushing. Will be interesting to see how MT does. It is a tough style of play, but you will have time to prepare...

As a Ft. Worth resident and regular AF Bowl attendee I would urge any MTSU fan that is on the fence about making this bowl trip to give it a shot. If the weather is good (sometimes a big if) it is a great bowl experience. Try to stay in downtown FW if poss. as it is a very special place year round with plenty of eats and drinks as well as 1st class hotels. Parking is limited at Amon Carter Stadium but there is street parking all around the TCU campus for those that don't mind walking and parking for free. It is a good safe neighborhood to be in. The bowl puts on quite a show before the game with various military displays not to mention the Navy and MTSU pep rallys that will most likely be held downtown at Sundance Square. Its a 10:45 AM start, FB was not meant to be played before noon...but I will be there.

You have to be mentally prepared to face the triple option more than any other physical attribute you can bring to the table. That's why we see good defenses gashed by triple option teams.

I fear all of the bowl festivities will be enough of a distraction to create problems for us. Hope I'm wrong. I hate having to face teams that run the T.O.
