Say what you want about winners making their own luck, the win over Georgia was plain and simple pure luck.
Yea, well if the refs hadn't awarded Ga a touchdown when the guy was stopped short of the goal line in the 4th quarter, no amazing finish was needed.
The fact is that Auburn won the game.

Next year, the discussion will be about #4 versus #5. It will be only slightly less heated.
Remember, after Selection Sunday, there are arguments about the #69 team left out of the NCAA tournament. But the argument doesn't last long, because nobody really thinks #69 would have won the title if they were allowed in the event. Not true with #5 in the football playoffs.
That's where I disagree with you.
Can you imagine the howling from the Pac12 and the Big XII if a 4 team playoff went down like this
FSU, Alabama, Auburn, Michigan State?
Or how about Baylor goes instead of Michigan State? The whining from the Big XII fans would be never ending.

Fact is that Auburn won the game, but the TD by Murray was debatable, not clear either way. And if Murray had another 10 seconds at the end of the game, he may still have won it for UGA.

Enough of the straw man argument. No matter how you try to justify it, Auburn needed a lot of luck to win. Period.

Auburn is going to win it all. They had 2 straight miracle finishes to get into the position they're in now. FSU can't beat that kind of luck. They won't either. The SEC gets another BCS Championship this season.
