Every time I visit my uncle he takes me to a game. I have no clue what is going on but I enjoy watching it.

It's stuff like this that makes it fun.

James Neal and Thorton should be suspended the rest of the season. I hate the NHL for such needless buffaroonary. Olympic and College style hockey is far better to watch. Don't get me started on that punk Crosby, 90% of the nonsense he brings upon himself. He's a grade A punk.

You'd make a great Wings fan, we're less about fighting and brawling and more about hard play. I do enjoy college more myself also.

I doubt it. I have too much distain for the NHL to come back. It's like anytime I turn on a Pens game there is some sort of cheap shot on either a Pen or the other team. Just feels that the goons have little respect for the other players on the ice. People like Matt Cooke infuriate me. There's no need for James Neal to purposely knee a player in the head. That's just flat out bullsh*t. How there isn't more outrage for his actions is mindboggling. OK Merchant didn't get hurt too bad, so that means the NHL doesn't set an example? In a time where concussions is such an issue, you'd think the NHL would want to set some form of precedence. Might as well allow benchclearing brawls again and get some of the sh*t out of their systems. SMH

I concur. One shouldn't need 'hockey justice' or 'baseball justice' to resolve in game transgressions, that's what rules and refs are for. Its kinda disingenuous for the NHL to laud the artistry of hockey (which certainly exists) while at the same time allowing no talent goons to patrol the ice just looking for confrontation.
