BCS Projections
I'd guess:
Title- Florida St vs Auburn
Orange
Sugar- Alabama vs
Fiesta- Baylor vs
Rose- Michigan St vs Stanford

The at large pool will be
Oklahoma St
Oklahoma
UCF
Ohio St
Oregon
Clemson

South Carolina, Missouri, LSU in top 14 but can't go to 2 team rule.

Orange has got a real tough choice. Do they honor Clemson, or go for the home run matchup of Ohio St/Oklahoma. It wouldn't shock me either way.

I think it comes down to Clemson or Oregon for the last spot. Clemson would be more likely to travel to the Orange and Sugar than Oregon I suspect.

I would think Clemson. Would love Clemson/Alabama and Oklahoma/Ohio St- 2 games that would get great TV I think...

I also don't think it is a big deal if the Orange passes on Clemson if they know they are going to get picked by the Sugar. It'll be the last chance for an ACC team to get into the Sugar for a long time. That could drive ticket sales and Clemson has been to the Orange recently.

Great points all around. Totally agree with you. Much easier with the NIU loss.

Alabama has no interest in playing clemson, a weak ACC team SC just beat. Sugar woukd take Oregon instead.

Clemson would probably take more to New Orleans than Miami - at least 20K or more. NO is more fun.

Not sure how much choice Alabama would have. It'd be between Oregon and Clemson- and Clemson from a $$$ standpoint is a much better draw.

Alabama would have a big say as the sec rep in the sugar. Clemson will not get in any bcs bowl but the orange.

Its not a tough choice. Take Alabama 1st.

Agreed... Alabama vs Oklahoma on the Sugar and Clemson vs Ohio State, if Clemson even gets a BCS bowl.

RE: BCS Projections
I think it's pretty cut and dry now given the selection order and available teams outside the Sugar Bowl which will depend a little on rankings

BCS Championship Bowl: Florida State vs. Auburn
Rose Bowl: Michigan State vs. Stanford
Orange Bowl: Clemson vs. Ohio State (Orange will take an ACC replacement team and Ohio State will be highest ranked and best brand out there)
Sugar Bowl: Alabama vs. Oregon (only bowl I see any wiggle room in. Alabama selected no question. Oklahoma will probably replace Oregon if they are in the top 14)
Fiesta Bowl: Baylor vs. UCF

Orange can not take Alabama. Since Sugar loses the SEC champ to the title game, they can't lose a 2nd SEC team unless they were ok with it. Sugar obviously won't be ok with it, and so Bama is in the Sugar Bowl period.

Did they discuss that tonight? I don't think that is correct. The bowl that loses the #1 team gets first pick. I remember a few years back the Orange ticking off the Rose by taking USC and Iowa.

and ever since then the implemented a rule that prevents a host bowl from losing their conference tie in unless they agree to it.

If that's correct it gives Oregon some chance to get the Sugar slot instead of Oklahoma. Still probably goes to Oklahoma.
